Instagram is the nest of influencers. Makeup tricks, fancy cars, fitness tips, delicious food, the latest games and so much more that people post and talk about all in one place. It can be as inspiring, as it is overwhelming.
If you've wandered around Instagram trying to find interesting or inspiring people to follow, you don't have to search anymore. I've put together a list of some of the top Instagram influencers representing different industries.
Since this social media platform is like a giant photo album that anyone can add to, it's really easy to get lost. Let me make it easier for you and offer some great accounts to follow. Let's jump into it!
@dudeperfect

Dude Perfect is a group of 5 guys who were already friends in college and who had no idea they were heading for the kind of success we've been able to witness over the years. These guys were just having fun, doing some trick shots in the garden and, for some reason, they recorded it. One of their videos got a ton of views and their number of followers has been escalating ever since. Most of the tricks they do seem almost impossible. That's why many people think it's fake (but still really cool to watch!).
You don't need to spend much time on any of their profiles to see that they're basically just having loads of fun.

The former football star is now an active Instagram community member. He often posts old career throwbacks, by which I mean, pics of him on the field, wearing a jersey, or hugging his one year old son, Brooklyn (who's now 21). You can also spot some football shoe ads, stylish outfits, a perfectly shaved beard, lots of behind the scenes photos and many, many, many posts dedicated to his family, which are really sweet btw.

Simone Biles - artistic gymnast, Olympic Champion and multiple World Championships winner. Besides being an incredible sportswoman, Simone Biles is also a cool girl on IG. Selfies, travel photos, friends and family, cute dog snaps, OOTDs -all of that is a part of her feed. And just in case you’re wondering if she also posts cool stuff that would result in broken bones for the rest of us, well, she most definitely does. So, you can check those out for yourself!
@jamieoliver

I don't visit these foodie profiles often for a good reason. It's almost like grocery shopping when you're hungry, you get even hungrier and want to eat it ALL. Jamie Oliver is quite a name in the industry and if you're into cooking and eating good food, his Instagram profile is exactly what you need in your life. His Bio says Chef & Dad and that pretty much sums it up.
Jamie Oliver's feed consists of his food, his family and his family members holding/ making/ eating his food. Despite this, it doesn't just leave you feeling hungry, but also full of food inspiration. He probably won't cook for you, but he posts many tips and recipes to help you with your cooking journey.

Another big name - Gordon Ramsay is a British chef, Michelin-star restaurant owner and a famous TV personality. His reputation is built upon his goal of culinary perfection, but he's also infamous for his fiery temper and for being a tough critic. Despite this, he doesn't seem that tough on IG.
He actually seems like a nice guy who smiles a lot and just enjoys spending time with his family and teaching the world how to cook the perfect gnocchi. And yes, his profile will probably leave you feeling a bit hungry, too.

Are you looking for something delicious, but also healthy at the same time? Yumna Jawad is here to inspire you with a bunch of recipes that look amazing and I swear that everyone can find something for themselves, no matter what you can/cannot eat or what kind of diet you're following. There's everything from low carb, vegetarian and vegan to gluten-free or even keto-friendly. You won’t only get inspired by her nice colorful plates of food, but Yumna also shares tips for cooking the basics, like rice or pasta.
If you think her Insta isn't enough, there's a link to her blog in her Bio and it's FULL OF FOOD. And don't worry, she doesn't forget dessert!

Alexa Chung is a famous model for magazines like Vogue, Elle or Harper's Bazaar. She's also a writer and a fashion designer. I think that most of us can imagine what a model's IG profile looks like- selfies, perfect outfits, behind the scenes of photoshoots, campaigns, etc. That's not Alexa's case. Her feed is weird, fun and artsy. There's a lot of vintage furniture, homey-vibe selfies and of course, fashion.
Fun fact: She was going to study art but she was scouted by an agency before that happened. That was probably one of the reasons why she decided to start creating fashion.
@chiaraferragni

Honestly, this is what I call a DIVA. Eating spaghetti in a pink party dress, that’s Chiara Ferragni. She’s an Italian fashion blogger and designer. She’s been active on her account since 2009 and she's inspired many people to follow the latest fashion trends. Her profile is one big feed of fashion inspiration. Her style is very classy and put together with a bold twist. She also isn't afraid to show that she's a proud mom, posting photos and videos of her son quite often. And clearly, she and her husband are really up to date, because they even started posting Tik Tok dances. A lot.
@lukasabbat

Luka Sabbat is probably one of the hottest male models of today. He was born into a fashion family with his father being a fashion designer and his mother - a stylist. He spent his childhood living part-time in NYC and part-time in Paris, which definitely influenced his style.
He's 22 now and it's been a few years since he completely won the fashion industry over. Is it his eye-catching look or his original style? I'd say both. He describes himself as a Creative Entrepreneur and works on many different projects and designs clothes that are highly sought after.

The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kylie Jenner, has been under the watch of the media since she was a little girl. Thanks to the reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” which was started by her parents, the whole world was able to watch Kylie grow up. She's now arguably the most famous of the sisters. She launched her own cosmetics line called Kylie Cosmetics and her brand has definitely grown bigger than any other project of her sisters.
Trendy makeup looks, designer clothes and expensive cars - that's Kylie Jenner.
@jamescharles

James Charles was the first male to become an ambassador for CoverGirl cosmetics. He got his start on YouTube by creating makeup tutorials, which he was very good at. It wasn't very common at the time for guys to broadcast themselves wearing makeup and doing tutorials, so he quickly got the attention of the world. James calls his fans “Sisters.”
It's no secret that he's been involved in many dramas over the years and I'm pretty sure that you'll be able to spot some if you follow his Instagram profile. The opinions of him are very diverse, but one thing's for sure, he's a great makeup artist.
@jefreestar

Jeffree Star has been experimenting with makeup since junior high. His past is interesting because he didn't start with lots of money or contacts and had to climb all the way up by himself. After he ended his music career (he was a singer), he decided to start a makeup brand and bet everything on it. When I say everything, I mean all of his savings. Today, it's a multi-million dollar company.
Jeffree's Instagram is all about bold, colorful makeup looks, matching outfits, his tattoo-covered body and his 6 cute pomeranians...aka, the life of a Star.

This profile is quite a ride! Jack's travels are all about stunning views, tall buildings, the bluest pools and the most exotic destinations. This IG is mostly about discovering all the pretty cities and natural treasures in Asia. Careful, it might inspire you to buy plane tickets and stay there forever, because it's hard to believe that it's not just Photoshop.
@helloemilie

Traveling and art combined. That's how you could describe Emilie's Insta. Her photos just make sense. Colors that are aesthetically pleasing, pretty landscapes and original ideas. Most of her profile is quite minimalist and yet, incredibly eye-catching.
If you want to add a softer palette and pictures of nature at its finest to your feed, then this is the profile to follow.
@pewdiepie

PewDiePie (Felix Kjellberg) is a Swedish YouTuber, comedian, and philanthropist, known primarily for his gaming videos. His channel has now over 104 million subscribers and 25 billion views, which makes it the most-subscribed to and most-viewed channel operated by a single person. In 2016, Time even named him one of the world's 100 most influential people, which is undoubtable.
Even though his main platform is YouTube, you can find him on Instagram, too. His profile is followed by almost 21 million users and yet, it is quite different from what you would normally find on YouTube. If you are more interested in Felix’s private life, this is the account to check out. He shares, for example, photos from his trips or pictures with his wife Marzia.
@ninja

Ninja (Richard Tyler Blevins) is an American streamer, YouTuber, professional gamer, and Internet personality. He started his career as a Halo 3 Esports player, but gained popularity thanks to Fortnite during the Battle Royale boom in early 2018. Before he left his Twitch profile to switch to a new streaming service Mixer, he had over 14 million followers, which made him the most-followed Twitch streamer ever.
His Instagram account currently has almost 15 million followers and is more gaming-related, but you can find all kinds of other pictures, like childhood photographs or various moments in his life. Again, if you want to get to know your favourite streamer better, there is no better place.
@markiplier
7.9M followers on IG
Markiplier (Mark Edward Fischbach) is an American YouTuber, gamer-commentator, actor, and comedian. His career started in Ohio and he now lives in California. Mark’s specialization is Survival horror games. His channel will soon hit 13 billion views and has over 25 million subscribers.
His Instagram profile, with 8 million followers, is full of funny selfies, filming, travelling and his golden retriever. It is 100% worth checking out.
@sjanaelise
1.6M followers on IG
Sjana is a yogi from Australia. It's enough to just open her profile and you can already feel the positive energy that she puts into all the things she does. Her posts are usually about loving oneself, loving the world, spreading positivity and dealing with anxiety or other mental health issues.
She encourages other women to accept themselves the way they are, and that's one important message.
@kaylaitsines

Kayla started as a personal trainer at a fitness center at the age of 18. Her workouts and training style were considered too difficult for many and her colleagues even made jokes about nobody being able to last more than 30 minutes of training with her. That's why she came up with BBG (Bikini Body Guide) which is a 28 minute workout she worked into her SWEAT app. It's a fitness program including workouts, meal-planning, tips on many fitness topics and community forums.
Speaking from my own experience, these workouts are intense. What Kayla managed to do is to motivate many women around the world to move and really empower each other.
@nude_yogagirl

Who's the Nude Yoga Girl? I don't think we've ever seen her face on IG. What she does can be seen as art, obscene or controversial. That is... doing yoga naked and in public. And on social media. However, she doesn't see it as something improper. Quite the contrary, she's trying to demonstrate and prove that being naked is normal, natural and that it's something we shouldn't be ashamed of.
She doesn't just do nude yoga in front of her bedroom window. She does nude yoga in Central Park, in front of the Hollywood Sign, and even in the snow! I think that must be quite an experience.
Of course, there are thousands of other accounts that are worth mentioning, but it's impossible to name them all. And in our fast-paced world, there's always some new IG star on the rise. So sooner rather than later, there will probably be another name we can add to our list.
Until then, if you follow different influencers and want to share some of your own favourites, let us know! 👋
